A storage blip no longer locks a licensed organisation out
When the hub opens, it reads your licence and settings from Azure DevOps extension storage. Very occasionally that storage answers a read with nothing, the same answer it gives when a document does not exist, and until now that could make a licensed organisation look unlicensed for a minute: the hub would ask our licensing service for trial state, be told the trial had ended long ago, and show the lock screen until a refresh read the stored licence again. The hub now asks Azure DevOps a second way before believing a blank answer, keeps its current state and retries when the answer cannot be confirmed, and remembers the last successful licence check in your browser for up to seven days so a licensed organisation opens as licensed even during that retry. Nothing new leaves your tenant: the browser copy holds what the Help page already shows and never the activation token.

The same blip no longer re-records the administrator email or resets a trial start date
A blank answer used to be read as "the administrator email was never captured", so it was captured again on every open, and as "no trial start date", which could stamp a new one over the real date. Both now wait for a confirmed read. If your organisation saw the same undo banner for the administrator email more than once, this is why, and it stops with this release.
Forecasts explain themselves before your first completed sprint
A team with no completed sprints has no throughput history to forecast from. The Sprint Forecast dashboard tile and the Monte Carlo view used to treat that as an error and show an error notice; they now show a short line saying forecasts start after your first completed sprint. Nothing to configure: forecasts begin on their own once a sprint has closed.

A small patch went out earlier in the day. In Configuration, Access Control, User View Permissions, unticking the last remaining view used to leave members with the default set of views instead of none. The last ticked view now stays on, greyed out with a short note, until you tick another one.
Updating
Azure DevOps updates the extension automatically, nothing to install. Everything above works with your data staying inside your Azure DevOps organisation: no PAT, no data sent to us. If a figure still looks wrong after the update, use Ask Henry in the top bar and a real person replies within one business day.
