A Refreshed Dashboard You Can Make Your Own

The Agile Analytics home dashboard has a cleaner, more modern look and now leads with the metrics that matter most. You can also show, hide, and reorder widgets — or restore the classic layout anytime.

The home dashboard is the first thing your team sees, so it should put the right numbers in front of them straight away. The latest release gives Agile Analytics a refreshed, more modern look and a smarter default layout — and, for the first time, lets you arrange it around how your team actually works.

A cleaner, more readable look

The visual refresh runs across the whole extension: clearer charts, calmer spacing, and a consistent style in both light and dark themes. The goal was readability — less visual noise around the numbers, so the signal stands out in a sprint review or a stand-up.

The default view leads with what matters

The home dashboard now opens with the metrics most teams check first, arranged by importance rather than by accident:

  • Key delivery indicators across the top, at a glance.
  • Cycle time and a delivery forecast side by side, so "how fast" and "when" sit together.
  • Throughput and work-in-progress, so flow and load are visible without hunting for them.

Make it yours

Every team prioritises differently, so the dashboard is now customizable. Open the customize panel to shape the home view around the conversations your team actually has:

  • Show or hide individual widgets so the dashboard reflects what your team tracks.
  • Drag widgets to reorder them and put your most-watched metric first.
  • Restore the classic layout at any time if you prefer the original arrangement.

Nothing you rely on went away

This is a layout and styling refresh, not a feature change. Every view, metric, and forecast is exactly where it was — sprint health, flow analytics, forecasting, and the rest are all still a click away in the navigation. The difference is that the first screen now does a better job of surfacing the numbers your team opens the tool to see.

The refreshed, customizable dashboard is available now. Update Agile Analytics from the Visual Studio Marketplace, open the hub, and use the customize panel to arrange your home view the way your team works.
