Version 6.0.0 is a major release focused on clarity, accuracy, and accessibility across core analytics and configuration flows. It introduces explicit N/A workflow mapping, smarter Blocked detection, deep-linked Sprint Capacity, and full dark mode coverage for configuration and capacity panels.

Explicit N/A Workflow Mapping

Workflow mapping now supports an explicit “— N/A (this stage is not used) —” option for canonical stages your process does not track. This makes it clear which stages are intentionally omitted, improving transparency and reducing mapping errors for custom or simplified workflows.

  • Each canonical stage in the mapping grid can be set to N/A if your process does not use it.
  • Stages marked N/A are visually distinct and excluded from analytics calculations.
  • No more confusion about “missing” stages—your mapping now documents what is and is not tracked.

Aging Chart: Blocked Tab Auto-Detects Blocked States

The Aging Chart’s Blocked tab now auto-detects items in ADO states whose name contains “block”, “impediment”, or equals “on hold” (case-insensitive). No tag is required—blocked status is inferred directly from the state name, making it easier to surface impeded work without extra configuration.

  • ADO states containing “block”, “impediment”, or exactly “on hold” are treated as Blocked.
  • No need to manually tag items as blocked—detection is automatic.
  • Works across all process templates and custom state names.

Sprint Capacity: Deep-Link to ADO Boards

When Sprint Capacity is empty, the “Set up capacity” link now deep-links directly to the correct sprint capacity tab in ADO Boards. This streamlines setup and reduces friction for new teams or first-time users.

  • Empty-state link opens the exact sprint capacity tab for the current iteration.
  • No more manual navigation—users land directly where they need to configure capacity.

Dark Mode Rendering Fixes

Dark mode rendering is now fully covered for Configuration tabs, Org Hygiene, and Sprint Capacity panels. All UI elements, backgrounds, and controls match the intended palette in both light and dark themes.

  • Configuration tabs, Org Hygiene, and Sprint Capacity panels now render correctly in dark mode.
  • No more mismatched backgrounds or unreadable controls.

After Upgrading

After upgrading to 6.0.0, please re-check Configuration → Workflow Mapping to ensure your stages are mapped as intended. The new N/A option may require review for custom or previously incomplete mappings.

  • Open Configuration → Workflow Mapping and review each stage.
  • Set any unused stages to N/A for clarity.
  • Confirm analytics views reflect your intended process.
