What’s in 6.23
This is the whole recent line in one update. You can now shape the Dashboard to your own work, plan the Epic Roadmap by setting Target Dates instead of leaning on a pace forecast alone, export every analytical dashboard to CSV — Live Stats included — and drill from any list straight into the work items in Azure DevOps. A few metric labels were corrected to be precise rather than flattering, Epic Analytics scoping was made more reliable, and — on the Enterprise plan — Epic Analytics can span several projects at once. We also tightened consistency: the Dashboard’s cycle time now reads exactly the same as the dedicated Cycle Time view. As always: no new Azure DevOps permissions, no re-authorisation, and every setting, license, and workflow mapping is preserved.
Make the Dashboard yours
The Dashboard has a new “Customize” button. Drag widgets to reorder them (or use the up/down buttons), show or hide any widget, and switch on optional extras — a throughput-trend sparkline, a 30-day forecast headline, and a cycle-time data-quality chip. Your arrangement is saved to your account, so teammates keep their own layout, and “Reset to default” restores the original at any time. If you never open Customize, the Dashboard looks exactly as it did before — nothing changes unless you choose to change it.
A plan-aware Epic Roadmap
The Epic Roadmap now lays out the calendar year as Q1–Q4 with a year stepper, so you can step back to see what shipped and forward to plan. Best of all, it honours your intent: set an epic’s Target Date in Azure DevOps (or assign it to a quarter iteration) and it appears in that quarter, marked “📌 Planned”, even before it has a completion pace. A ⚠ flags an epic whose pace forecast lands later than the plan, so you can tell intent from projection at a glance. Epics with neither a plan nor a recent pace are still listed honestly as unscheduled, never given a made-up date.
Export every dashboard to CSV
Every analytical dashboard with a table has an Export to CSV button — Flow Metrics, Flow Efficiency, Delivery Signals, Cumulative Flow, WIP Monitor, Aging & Blocked, User Metrics, Org Hygiene, the Team Leaderboard, the Audit Trail, and now Live Stats too, giving you the per-team numbers as data rather than just a snapshot image. Each export contains exactly the columns you see on screen, so the file you hand to a stakeholder matches the view you were looking at.
Jump straight into Azure DevOps
Knowing “five items are stuck” is only useful if you can see which five. Flow Efficiency, the Aging / Blocked lists, Org Hygiene, and the Audit Trail let you open the work items behind the numbers — click a single item, or open the whole list as a query in Azure DevOps.
Numbers that say what they mean — and agree across views
A few labels were made precise: the WIP card badge reads “WIP Control” (it grades how close you are to your limit, and nothing more), the AI inline-vs-chat split is clearly marked as an estimate where it is derived rather than measured, and the Team Leaderboard CSV carries every on-screen column instead of blanks. New in this release: the Dashboard’s cycle-time card now reads from the same source as the dedicated Cycle Time view — your last 6 sprints of completed work, measured through your workflow mapping — so the two always match. We also removed an out-of-date first-run popup that could appear on fresh installs.
Epic Analytics: the right epics, across projects
Scope Epic Analytics to a team and it now shows the epics that team is actually working on — even when your epics live at the project root and only their features and stories sit under the team’s area path. The epic list leads with your most-complete epics and expands on one click. And on the Enterprise plan, Epic Analytics can span several projects and teams at once (Configuration → Epic Analytics), exactly like Feature Analytics — fully opt-in, with team names labelled by project when more than one is in view.
Updating
Auto-update from the Marketplace; no admin action required. The first time you open the hub after upgrading, the What’s New popup shows the 6.23 highlights once and then dismisses. Questions or ideas? Ask Henry from the top bar or the Help & Support page — we reply personally within 24 hours.
