Copilot AI Metrics for Jira — Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Copilot AI Metrics for Jira (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App is a Jira Cloud Forge app that provides GitHub Copilot adoption analytics, contributor insights, trend analysis, and Jira-linked delivery context for engineering teams and administrators.

3. License Grant

Baytek Software grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App within your Jira Cloud environment, subject to these Terms and any applicable Marketplace conditions.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the App to:

  • Review Copilot adoption metrics
  • Connect approved GitHub organization data
  • View Jira-linked delivery insights
  • Export or analyze dashboard results where supported

5. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Misuse the App or interfere with its intended operation
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the App or supporting services
  • Reverse engineer protected compiled assets beyond applicable law
  • Bypass Atlassian or GitHub access controls
  • Redistribute or resell the App without written permission

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also subject to the Privacy Policy. Secret values such as GitHub Personal Access Tokens are intended to be stored in Atlassian Forge encrypted storage, while non-secret settings may be stored locally in the browser for convenience.

7. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAYTEK SOFTWARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF THE APP.

9. Suspension or Termination

Access to the App may end or be suspended if these Terms are violated, connected credentials are revoked, or the App is uninstalled from the Jira Cloud environment.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California, USA, subject to applicable law.
